الزمالك كان قد توج ببطولة الدوري المصري لموسم 2022، بينما الأهلي حصد لقب كأس مصر لنفس الموسم.

تقام مباراة الزمالك والأهلي يوم الجمعة 5 من شهر مايو المقبل في تمام الساعة 7:30 بتوقيت القاهرة، 8:30 بتوقيت السعودية.

وكان الأهلي صاحب آخر لقب لبطولة كأس السوبر المصري في موسم 2021 على حساب الزمالك بهدفين دون رد.

ويعد الأهلي هو الفريق الأكثر تتويجًا ببطولة كأس السوبر المصري بواقع 12 مرة، ويأتي في المركز الثاني الزمالك 4 مرات.

Mahela Jayawardene will seriously re-assess his future as Sri Lanka’s captain and as an international cricketer at the end of the tour of Australia.”I am going to take it one series at a time especially after the Australian tour I will have time to think,” he said. “I took on the responsibility to lead the team for one year and that will end after the Australian tour.”He was speaking before Sri Lanka left for Australia on a tour which includes a series of three Tests, five one-day internationals and twoTwenty20 internationals.”(After the tour) I can sit back and think what I want to achieve not just for myself but for the team as well. I have always said that I am not a guy who will just hang around for the sake of playing. If the youngsters take on the responsibility and do the job for Sri Lanka then I will be very happy to step aside and give them that opportunity but at the same time I don’t want the team in a situation where it will have a harmful effect.”I want to make that transition as smooth as possible. I don’t want to let go all the good things that’s been done all these years and just walk away from that. I will sit down and talk to a few people that I talk to usually when it comes to taking a decision and have a chat with the selectors as well especially with the captaincy position, then it will be much easier for me to make a call on what I want to do in my career.”Jayawardene is of the view that it would be the right time to hand over the captaincy to his deputy Angelo Mathews who has been groomed for the position over the past year or so. “Angelo hasn’t had the experience of leading the team at international level I agree but the way he led the provincial and SLPL teams to reach the final was most commendable.”As a deputy he has contributed on the field and off the field and that is something that the public and others don’t see. He is very mature. The other important thing is he’s earned the respect of all the players, the younger and older players.”In a way personally I feel that it would be better for him to be captain while there are some senior hands around in the team to help him rather than him taking over when there is no one. You can look at it in different ways.”You never know whether he can handle the situation unless you give him that opportunity. There were a few issues when I took over the captaincy and to a certain extent I’ve been able to settle them. The team is more focused on what they want to achieve now. It is a much settled set-up. It could be the right time to give Angelo the captaincy.”One of the priorities of the team is to win a Test in Australia. It is an achievement that has eluded many past Sri Lankan captains. Whether the present team has it in them to tame Australia at this moment of time seems questionable.”No one gave us a chance to win in South Africa they were the No. 1 team and to beat them on their home soil was a very big achievement,” Jayawardene said. “We have the capacity and the talent to go and win a match but how consistently we can do it is something we have to challenge ourselves, that’s where we lack. We are definitely in a position to go and beat Australia and put pressure on them.”When we played Australia in the last one-day series we actually handled their bowlers in their conditions. We do play much better when we are in that kind of situation when it is more challenging and the conditions tough. We’ve shown that in South Africa and in Australia in the ODI series when the Indians got bamboozled against the same attack we were beating. We didn’t perform against New Zealand when we had a bad Test match. We had a couple of sessions that we didn’t play well. It doesn’t mean that if we challenge their (Australian) bowling unit and if we adapt and play better cricket there we can’t hold them on level terms.”It’s very much a mental thing. You have to be mentally stronger to beat Australia. They will come at us. Everyone will know what you have to do in Australia so knowing how you tackle that situation is the most important thing. In a way it’s like when you know what going to happen you sometimes know too much about it and then you fall into a trap rather than just concentrate on your strengths. That would be the way to go.”Whether Sri Lanka wins a Test in Australia or not Jayawardene stated that there was no substitute to winning a fifty-over World Cup. “Ask any international cricketer, winning a 50-over World Cup will be one of their priorities. That would always be my disappointment if I don’t win a World Cup before I retire. Definitely winning a Test in Australia would be brilliant. We won a Test match in West Indies we’ve done that in South Africa, in New Zealand and in England. We haven’t won a Test in Australia and India so we must try and get those two opportunities before I hang up.”

Inclusive foi dele o gol da vitória da equipe pernambucana no jogo com o Vasco, na Ilha do Retiro, no returno do Brasileirão (2 a 1).

Outro dado importante de Cláudio nessa provável vinda ao Vasco é o fato dele ser sobrinho de Luís Carlos Winck, também lateral-direito, e que teve passagem marcante pelo clube carioca. You need more than the Duckworth/Lewis method to work out how the Perth Scorchers won this extraordinary semi-final against Melbourne Stars, and qualified for the Champions League again. Rain reduced the contest from a 20-over affair to an 18-over match at the end of the Stars’ magnificent batting display. Then more rain initially reduced it to a 17-over chase, before a 13-over pursuit of 139 was finally begun.You could talk about the ten runs needed from James Faulkner’s final over, and Jackson Bird’s drop of Michael Hussey from the first ball of the over. But the match, the BBL final, and the Champions League berth all hinged on what appeared to be the last ball of the match.Adam Voges took strike, needing three runs to win, and two to force a one-over eliminator. Faulkner, who was controversially made the stand-in captain for the Stars with both Shane Warne and Cameron White on sanctions for slow over-rates earlier in the tournament, stood at the top of his mark with his actual captain, Warne, and the former acting captain, White, trying to set a field to keep the scoring to two or less.The trio parted ways, all pointing every which way. Faulkner delivered a brilliant wide yorker that Voges missed and despite Hussey running through for a bye the Stars thought they had won the match, until they saw standing umpire Mick Martell’s right arm outstretched to signal a no-ball.The Stars’ three captains had failed to notice they only had three men inside the circle. To rub salt into the wound Faulkner also over-stepped the frontline. Either way the Stars looked at it, the ball needed to be re-bowled and the Scorchers needed just one to win.Hussey, of course, struck the winning runs over mid-on, and the Scorchers booked a home final for Saturday night at the WACA.The Scorchers can thank Shaun Marsh for getting them there. Chasing 139 to win, Marsh produced another astonishing hand. His innings of 68 from 40 balls was the difference in the end. The Scorchers were 1 for 38 after five overs, having lost Herschelle Gibbs to a hamstring strain and Nathan Coulter-Nile to a superb running catch from Brad Hodge.Marsh then targeted debutant Alex Keath, who was called upon for his first over by one of his captains. The left-hander assaulted the youngster, taking 27 from the over. Both a full toss and a half volley landed in the long-on bleachers. Then two elegant cover drives found the cover rope in different ways, one on the bounce, the next along the carpet. The fifth ball went for six again, the sixth Marsh took a single to retain the strike in a commanding display of batting.Off the first ball of the seventh over, Marsh slashed Bird to third man to bring up his fifth half-century of the tournament, and the third in a row. He and Voges continued to find the rope with ease before Marsh holed out with 38 runs still needed.But it only brought Hussey to the crease to hook his second ball for six. His 18 not out from 12 balls was vintage Hussey, but credit must really go to Voges who finished with an unbeaten 36 from 21 deliveries to help the Scorchers to the most remarkable of victories. Given the wet conditions and the shortened match, Warne did not bowl for the first time in the BBL.It was a result that never seemed likely after the Stars’ phenomenal batting display. Simon Katich asked the Stars to bat with one eye on the looming rain clouds. Cameron White was promoted to open and nearly doubled his tournament run tally in 53 balls of brutal hitting. White had managed just 90 runs in seven innings this tournament. His 88 here looked a match-winning effort. After a cautious start the Stars were 1 for 69 through the first ten overs. But then White and Hodge cut loose. They hit 10 sixes between them, each as large as the next. No bowler was spared with the exception of Coulter-Nile who conceded only a run a ball while his colleagues were clubbed to all corners of a packed WACA ground.A rain delay brought about White’s downfall as he picked out long-off first ball after the resumption. It did not stop Hodge though. His unbeaten 70 from 43 deliveries helped the Stars to an imposing total of 2 for 183, which would have certainly been in excess of 200 had they been allowed to bat the 20 overs.Hodge received a life on 40 when the makeshift wicketkeeper Hussey missed a stumping chance. But the gamble of gloving Hussey would pay dividends in the end for the Scorchers. Perth will host the BBL final for the second successive year, and despite the disgrace and disappointment of the 2012 Champions League, they will be there again in 2013.

England have named Graham Thorpe as batting coach for the one-day international and Twenty20 series in New Zealand in a decision which moves closer towards separate coaching set-ups for the Test and one-day sides.Thorpe replaces Graham Gooch, whose role as Test batting coach for next summer’s Ashes series remains assured.The reshuffle follows the appointment of Ashley Giles as England’s new coach in the shorter formats of the game to reduce the touring workload on England’s director of cricket, Andy Flower, whose day-to-day coaching involvement is now restricted to the Test arena.England’s managing director Hugh Morris has stressed the appointment of Thorpe, who has cut his teeth as batting coach for England Lions, will be reviewed at the end of the New Zealand tour, although his fulltime appointment seems inevitable.Morris said: “Graham Gooch’s work in India made a real step change to the way we played spin bowling and was a factor in us winning that Test series. We’ve got an enormous amount of very high-profile Test cricket and we want Graham to focus his attention on working one-on-one with our Test players.”Graham Thorpe, who has been working alongside the Lions as one of our coaches for the last 12 months or so, will be going to New Zealand as one-day batting coach. He’s made a good impression as a batting coach and he is looking forward to the opportunity to go there.”England entered the final one-day international against India in Dharamsala on Sunday 3-1 down with one to play, and with the series already lost, but suggestions that Gooch has been removed from the one-day set-up at Giles’ behest because of another failure in an Indian ODI series are an overstatement of the case.England are committed to developing distinct coaching set-ups in Test and one-day cricket and Thorpe’s introduction, which has been built towards for some time, is a natural consequence of that .Nevertheless, Giles might welcome a more energising figure in the dressing room in the limited-overs formats. Gooch’s lugubrious commonsense has had a positive effect on England’s Test side, exemplified by the last Test they played as they had the mental strength to bat for for nearly 10 hours to draw the Test in Nagpur and win the series. Thorpe, though, might quicken the progress of young plyers such as Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow, who have built a strong rel;ationship with him in Lions cricket and who are instrumental to England’s one-day future.Gooch, like Flower, has always had mixed feelings about the lengthy amount of time spent away from home in England’s crowded international schedule. David Saker, England’s bowling coach, was also briefly tempted by the Warwickshire director of cricket role for identical reasons before the lure of back-to-back Ashes series persuaded him that he had “unfinished business” with the England side. It would be no surprise if he was next.Challenges will come thick and fast for Thorpe if, as everybody expects, he passes his probationary period. Following the ICC Champions Trophy in England this summer England face a World T20 in Bangladesh in March 2014 and a World Cup in Australia and New Zealand the following year.

أكد ميكيل أرتيتا، المدير الفني لفريق آرسنال، أن هناك أمل للتتويج بلقب الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز على حساب مانشستر سيتي هذا الموسم.

ويتصدر مانشستر سيتي الترتيب الآن بفارق 4 نقاط عن آرسنال الوصيف، وسيلتقي فريق أرتيتا غدًا السبت مع نوتينجهام، فيما يلاقي فريق بيب جوارديولا نظيره تشيلسي.

وفي مؤتمر صحفي اليوم الجمعة، افتتح أرتيتا الحديث حول ما إذا كان آرسنال سيذهب إلى موسم 2023/24 كمنافس على اللقب، وقال: “لقد أظهرنا هذا الموسم، وما زلنا أمامنا مباراتان على النهاية”.

وأضاف: “لا يزال بإمكاننا أن نكون أبطالًا، ربما ضد أفضل فريق في تاريخ الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، لمدة 10 أشهر وما زلنا هناك مع مباراتين متبقيتين، وما سيحدث في الموسم المقبل سيعتمد كثيرًا على ما نقوم به وكيف نتطور وكيف نبدأ، من الصعب جدًا القيام بهذا التوقع اليوم”.

وسُئل أرتيتا إذا كان مانشستر سيتي بحاجة إلى الفوز بالثلاثية ليثبت أنه أفضل فريق في تاريخ الدوري الإنجليزي، ورد: “قلت إنه يمكن القول إنهم يتنافسون في المسابقات المشاركون بها، وما فعلوه في نصف نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا”.

وأكمل: “ولكن أيضًا يوضح مستوى هذا الدوري، هذا الفريق لديه القدرة على الحصول على 105 أو 110 نقطة، لم يفعلوا ذلك هذا الموسم بسبب مستوى الدوري، كنا هناك معهم نتنافس لمدة 10 أشهر”.

وبشأن نمو فريق آرسنال وبناء هوية، أفاد أرتيتا: “لقد بنينا هذا الأساس، هناك الكثير من الجودة، والكثير من الشباب، والكثير من الحماس، ولكن أيضًا محاط بالعديد من الأشخاص الجيدين الذين يتمتعون بالخبرة المناسبة، مع الكثير من القيادة من حولهم”.

وشدد الإسباني: “علينا أن نواصل القيام بذلك لأن المطالب والتوقعات والتحديات في الموسم المقبل ستكون أكبر، لا يمكننا الخلط بين ما نحن عليه اليوم ولدينا الكثير من الوضوح حول كيف سنصل إلى حيث نريد أن نكون في المواسم القادمة”.

وعما إذا كان سيستخدم آلام هذا الموسم كحافز للمستقبل، أجاب: “لا أعرف ما هو الألم، هذا يعتمد على ماهية الألم، هناك الكثير من اللحظات لنكن سعداء للغاية بما أنجزناه، دعونا نرى أين ننتهي في المباراتين القادمتين”.

وأشار: “الألم جزء من كرة القدم، عندما لا تفوز، عندما لا تؤدي بمستواك، يجب أن يكون ذلك مؤلمًا، يجب أن تتأذى بالطريقة الصحيحة وعليك استخدام هذا الألم لتصبح أفضل ولإيجاد إجابات وحلول يمكن أن تساعدك على كسب المزيد، هذا ما نحاول القيام به كل يوم”.

كما سُئل أرتيتا إذا كان الفريق اليوم يمكنه التعامل مع كل من الدوري الإنجليزي ودوري أبطال أوروبا، وعلّق: “اليوم؟ بالمستوى الذي نريده لا، لم تكن لدينا القدرة على فعل ذلك مع الدوري الأوروبي، إنه جزء من هذا التطور”.

وشدد: “لقد قطعنا الكثير من الخطوات الجيدة، وخطوات قوية في تلك الرحلة، علينا أن نستمر، هذا لا ينتهي أبدًا، يجب أن نكون أفضل، الباقي سيكون أفضل، ستكون المطالب أعلى، علينا أن نبدأ ونتعايش مع تلك المعايير، وأن نتحسن وأن نكون أكثر ذكاءً”.

وأكد أرتيتا: “هذا لا يعني مجرد التعاقد مع اللاعبين، بل تحسين لاعبينا، هناك لاعبون لم نحصل منهم على الأفضل هذا الموسم، مهمتنا هي تحسينها لأن هناك عددًا قليلاً من اللاعبين الذين لم يحظوا بالدقائق أو العروض وعلينا أن نسعى إلى هؤلاء اللاعبين لمنحنا ميزة مختلفة”.

وأصر: “الأمر لا يتعلق فقط بالتعاقد مع اللاعبين، يتعلق الأمر بالموارد والموظفين وتحسين بعض الأشياء التي يمكن القيام بها بشكل أفضل أو أكثر كفاءة أو أذكى”.

Já estava definido que o jogador de 30 anos de idade seria comprado pelo Verdão por R$ 8 milhões, acertando compromisso até o final de 2022.

Marcos Rocha estava emprestado pelo Atlético-MG até 31 de dezembro, com seus direitos econômicos fixados em 2 milhões de euros (quase R$ 9 milhões). O desfecho do negócio ocorreu com valores próximos e sem a necessidade de incluir Papagaio na transação – o atacante da Seleção Brasileira sub-20 está próximo de confirmar seu empréstimo ao Galo, mas em negociação paralela.

O lateral atuou por 45 partidas e fez um gol em sua primeira temporada no clube. Foi o último a garantir sua continuidade no clube do elenco que venceu o último Campeonato Brasileiro. Antes, o Palmeiras renovou com o lateral-direito Mayke, que estava emprestado pelo Cruzeiro, com os goleiros Fernando Prass e Jailson e o zagueiro Edu Dracena, que ficariam sem vínculo em dezembro.

O Verdão contratou em definitivo ainda o volante Matheus Fernandes, ex-Botafogo, o meia Zé Rafael, ex-Bahia, e os atacantes Arthur Cabral, ex-Ceará, Carlos Eduardo, ex-Pyramids, do Egito, além do empréstimo do também atacante Felipe Pires, que pertence ao Hoffenheim, da Alemanha.
