O Flamengo ainda observa de perto a situação de Pablo, ex-Corinthians e sonho antigo da diretoria

A preocupação na Gávea em relação ao setor cresce a cada dia. Para muitos, inclusive a comissão técnica, a zaga do Flamengo vive contradição muito alta, já que conta com três zagueiros acima dos 30 anos (Juan, Réver e Rhodolfo) e dois abaixo dos 25 (Thuler e Léo Duarte). Para o jogo contra o Atlético-MG, sábado, por exemplo, pelo Brasileiro, a zaga será formada por garotos, já que Juan e Réver estão lesionados e Rhodolfo suspenso, o que preocupa a comissão rubro-negra.

Além dos jovens já no elenco, Patrick, da base, também tem sido bastante observado e costuma treinar com o elenco em diversas oportunidades. Com a classificação para as oitavas de final da Libertadores asseguradas, a diretoria já confirmou que não vai medir esforços por um novo defensor.

Zagueiros do mercado sul-americano são vistos com bons olhos pela diretoria e comissão técnica, principalmente para a disputa da fase de mata-mata da Copa Libertadores, que se iniciará em agosto.

ZAGUEIRO ANTES DO CENTROAVANTE

Além do zagueiro, o clube, sem pressa, busca também um centroavante para a vaga de Paolo Guerrero. A ideia é investir mais em um jogador para compor a defesa do que para o ataque.

Na vaga de Guerrero, com Henrique Dourado titular, existe uma linha que acredita que os jovens Lincoln e Vitor Gabriel podem ocupar bem a função do peruano e deFelipe Vizeu, que vai atuar na Udinese (ITA), após a Copa do Mundo.

Mesmo assim, o Flamengo também busca uma oportunidade de mercado para o ataque. Jogadores sul-americanos também estão em pauta, assim como atletas brasileiros que atuam no exterior. No mercado interno, o Flamengo não enxerga neste momento nenhum grande nome para reforçar seu setor ofensivo.

LATERAL-ESQUERDO TAMBÉM PODE CHEGAR

Outra posição que o Flamengo busca para fechar seu elenco é de um lateral-esquerdo. O clube sabe que após a Copa do Mundo, e com o banco de reservas, pode perder o peruano Miguel Trauco, e por isso já tenta encontrar soluções para o elenco.

Garotos das categorias de base também são observados, mas a ideia é ter um reforço para uma eventual saída do camisa 13. Renê, atual titular, vive ainda com desconfiança, apesar de ter sido destaque nos últimos jogos.

Para a posição, o Flamengo também não quer alguém que chegue apenas para compor elenco e sim um nome que dispute a vaga com Renê. Se não encontrar, a comissão irá compor elenco com os jovens talentos das categorias de base.

Since then other sides have improved while injuries and loss of form have seen England rejoin the rest of the pack.They had a poor World Twenty20 in West Indies last year, falling out at the group stage, while Australia took the trophy after beating New Zealand in the final. England also then lost their hold on the Ashes when Australia won a one-off Test in Sydney at the beginning of the year.Despite the slips, Charlotte Edwards, England’s captain, is confident her side can turn things around and is looking forward to putting on a good show when the Twenty20-leg starts on Thursday, against New Zealand in Chelmsford.”We have been lacklustre in the last couple of years I guess, but we welcome back a number of players from injury and other things and we’re looking forward to putting on a good show,” she told ESPNcricinfo. “The atmosphere we get for Twenty20 cricket especially is good and hopefully if we get some people at the grounds we can show that we are a good side.”Though Edwards conceded home conditions will help she didn’t feel England could start as favourites. “I don’t think, with the way the teams are now, that anyone can really feel favourites. The weather and conditions suit us and are very familiar.”India will be less impressed with conditions having left the height of summer back home. Yet captain Jhulan Goswami says the exposure is important for the team and thinks the tournament is crucial for their development. “After the World Cups this is the biggest tournament,” said Goswami. “It gives us exposure against the best teams. Obviously some of our players haven’t been here but to be the best you have to play well in all conditions. We are really looking forward to just starting.”

Goodwin scored an unbeaten 100 off 59 balls as the Sharks, after scoring 178 for 8, beat Surrey Lions by 11 runs in front of a 6,500 sell-out crowd at Hove to secure a last-eight home tie against Lancashire Lightning.The 38-year-old struggled physically and needed his inhaler at one stage after suffering from breathlessness. He barely had the strength to raise his bat to the crowd when he reached hishundred off the third ball of the last over but his stroke-play and placement were outstanding.Goodwin had to lead a rebuilding job after Sussex lost Luke Wright and Lou Vincent in the second over of this Friends Life t20 clash. Sussex were a modest 20 for 2 after four but Goodwin cut loose by taking 17 off the fifth over from Stuart Meaker.Goodwin added 76 from 49 balls for the third wicket with Matt Prior and even when the England Test wicketkeeper holed out in the 10th over for 26 Sussex were able to maintain momentum as Chris Nash and Goodwin added a further 42 from 26 balls. وقال فرج عامر في مداخلة عبر برنامج “اللعيب” على قناة “إم بي سي مصر”: “زياد طارق موجود مع الفريق، ننتظر فقط أن نعبر مباراة بيراميدز ولن أقبل ببقاء طارق العشري في سموحة، لأنه لا يمتلك أدب الحديث، وارتكب مخالفات لأول مرة في تاريخ الكرة بمصر”.

وواصل: “طارق العشري كلف نادي سموحة عشرات الملايين من الجنيهات، وضم 17 لاعبًا منهم 11 لا يعرفون كيف يلعبون الكرة، ثم وقع على ورقة بالموافقة على رحيلهم”.

واستطرد فرج عامر: “أنا تقدمت ببلاغ للنائب العام ووزير الشباب والرياضة، وما أقوله لا يقبل المناقشة، طارق العشري أتى بجهاز فني وضع فيه نجله، كان قد أتى من قبل في منصب مدرب الناشئين بـ5 آلاف جنيه والنادي رفضه، لكن طارق ضمه بـ45 ألف جنيه”.

وزاد: “طارق العشري وجهازه استلفوا مئات الآلاف من نادي سموحة، أنا عدت وجدت وضعًا لا يُمكن أن أقبله، عندما عدت كان المدرب لعب 12 مباراة وحصد 10 نقاط وسجل 4 أهداف ودخل مرماه 12 هدفًا، عن ماذا يتحدث؟ هل رأى مكسب إلا عندما عدت وحفزت اللاعبين، هل في آخر مباراتين سموحة كان سيفوز إلا بمساعدة حسام حسن؟”.

واستمر: “وبعد ذلك يخرج يتطاول على رئيس النادي، طالما سموحة لا يعجبك (ليه بتستموت) على البقاء؟، من يقبل أن يكون الجهاز الفني فيه صاحبه ونسيبه ونجله، ما هي خبرة نجله لكي يتواجد في الجهاز الفني؟، وحتى المباراة القادمة لو فاز على بيراميدز مبروك عليه ولكن سيرحل أيضًا”.

He added 81 with opener Brad Wilson before witnessing a wobble as three wickets fell at the other end – Mitchell Starc took two of them – for 13 runs. Doug Bracewell, however, gave him solid company in a 136-run stand. Broom guided his team into the lead before being dismissed by Starc just three short of his double-century. After New Zealand A declared with a lead of 36, AIS scored quickly to reach 180 for 3 at stumps in 40 overs. Glenn Maxwell was unbeaten on 74, off just 60 balls.Shikhar Dhawan was the star for India Emerging Players on the second day against South Africa Emerging Players at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane. He smashed 146 out of a team score of 269 for 8 declared, handing India a slender lead 10-run lead. India had lost their first two wickets cheaply overnight, but opener Dhawan built important partnerships with Manoj Tiwary, Sourabh Tiwary and wicketkeeper CM Gautam to steady the innings. The trio didn’t score too many but hung around as Dhawan dominated the bowling, smacking 27 fours his 177-ball knock. South Africa Emerging Players finished the day at 122 for 1, with their captain and first-innings hero Stiaan van Zyl unbeaten on 64.
